About this opportunity

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking contractors to repair landing gear parts kits for aircraft, specifically procuring 62 units of multiple NSN-coded parts. The Department of the Navy is targeting The Boeing Company as the primary source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, which allows for non-competitive procurement. The contract focuses on aircraft landing gear components (PSC Category 1620), with the government acknowledging these items may qualify as commercial items under FAR guidelines. Interested contractors must submit capability statements within 5 days of the January 14, 2025 publication date, though the government retains sole discretion on competitive considerations. Potential bidders not currently approved as a source must submit a detailed Source Approval Request package alongside their proposal.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this procurement, meaning it is open to all qualified contractors. The total quantity involves 62 units across three separate NSN part numbers for landing gear kits, with delivery specified as FOB origin. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement is specifically targeted at The Boeing Company (CAGE: 0PXV4) using NAICS code 336413 for aircraft manufacturing and repair. The government will not delay the award process pending source approval, suggesting an expedited procurement timeline. Contractors interested in participating must contact Anthony Boselli via email at anthony.boselli@navy.mil and review the detailed source approval information available on the NAVSUP website.
