This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-17-Q-0039 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation.
This requirement is not set-aside for small business.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole-source basis from Met One Instruments Inc., 1600 NW Washington Blvd, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526-1052, a quantity of fifty (50) AirSentinel 1000B-PC 2-Channel Particle Counters, Item Number 82200 in accordance with the attached SF18. Met One Instruments Inc.'s products are being sought as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only manufacturer of this specific type of 2-Channel particle counter.
Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Washington DC, 20301. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov .
Quote is due 12 May 2017, no later than 3:00 p.m. CST with an anticipated award date by 9 June 2017.
