RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO HUBZone Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Pool Contractors Cerrudo Services, CKY, Inc., and Hallmark Capital Group, LLC.

The Contract Specialist for this action is Allen R. Bassett at 817-886-1051; or by e-mail at Allen.R.Bassett@usace.army.mil

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to modernize parks and expand seepage collector system at Lake O the Pines and to repair ditches (concrete liner) at Jim Chapman Lake/Cooper Dam, Texas.

At Lake O the Pines, modernization efforts will include replacing electrical pedestals at campsites with new 50-amp service, removal of 1960s-era asphalt camper parking pads with new concrete sites capable of accommodating modern-day recreational vehicles (RVs). This includes removal of picnic tables, fire rings, bumper blocks, electrical pedestals & exposed wire, exposed plumbing & plumbing fixtures and all trees within 10 of improved areas (roads, campsites, etc). All asphalt will be recycled. All existing campsites will be upgraded with new concrete parking pads capable of withstanding both the size and weight of modern RVs. All amenities (electrical pedestals, fire rings, lantern holders, picnic tables, bumper blocks and plumbing fixtures) will be installed. All roads in each area will be re-paved with hot mix asphalt. The (4) four RV Areas that will be renovated are Johnson Creek RV Area 4 (Base), Alley Creek RV Area 2 (Option), Brushy Creek Tent Area 2, (Option) and Buckhorn Creek RV Area 2 (Option). Option areas will be renovated as funding permits.

Expanding seepage collector system at the base of Ferrells Bridge Dam at Lake O the Pines will entail demolition and removal of approximately 200 linear feet of existing concrete liner (approx 4,650 square feet). The ditch will be graded, compacted, and a new 6-inch concrete liner will be constructed.

Repair of ditches at Cooper Dam will entail approx 1,170 feet of raw earth ditch that will be graded and compacted, after which a 6-inch concrete liner will be constructed inside the ditch.
