About this opportunity
The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) is soliciting quotes for a panic button device and subscription system designed to enhance the safety of Community Supervision Officers during field operations. The procurement seeks to purchase between 150 and 250 wearable panic buttons with an integrated safety application compatible with agency-issued iPhones. These devices must enable workers to check-in for scheduled events, initiate safety alerts to team members or 911, and facilitate communication through various alert modes. Quotes are due by May 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM EDT, with evaluation criteria focused on technical acceptability and lowest price. The solicitation requires vendors to provide a solution that meets specific technical specifications, including GPS-enabled tracking, discreet communication capabilities, and compliance with federal security standards like FISMA and FedRAMP.
The contract opportunity is structured with a base period and four one-year option periods, spanning from August 1, 2025, to January 31, 2031, with an additional six-month extension option available. While initially not set aside, the solicitation indicates potential preference for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) under NAICS code 334220. The place of performance is Washington, DC 20002, and the contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order. The pricing structure allows for flexibility in device and subscription quantities, with the base period requiring 250 devices and subsequent option periods permitting 12 additional devices annually. The total contract value will be determined by the unit pricing submitted by offerors, with the government expecting to procure devices and accompanying subscription accounts for enhancing field staff safety and communication.
