About this opportunity
The Mississippi Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) is seeking to procure a paging system to enhance mass notification capabilities within buildings on the base. The Department of the Army Mississippi Army National Guard is the procuring agency for this requirement, classified under NAICS 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC 6350 (Miscellaneous Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems). The system must integrate with existing infrastructure including Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 14.0.1.12900-161 and the Whelan Giant Voice System, while providing zone splitting capabilities for visiting unit access and the ability to inject emergency notification signals and attack warning tones. All components must be listed on the DoD Approved Products Listing and be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant. The Pre-Solicitation Notice was posted on February 10, 2026, with a deadline of March 2, 2026, and a site survey will be conducted on March 5, 2026 at 0930 hours at the CRTC facility in Gulfport, Mississippi, with registration required by 1300 hours on March 2, 2026.
This procurement opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside. The current system utilizes a Bogen PCM-2000 modular telephone zone paging and control system, which appears to be the incumbent equipment being enhanced or potentially replaced. The Bogen PCM-2000 supports up to 250W total system amplifier power and connects directly to loop start and ground start trunks, PBX systems, and analog T/R lines with a 12V DC power supply requirement. While no specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this Pre-Solicitation Notice, interested contractors should contact James Nelson at james.nelson.78@us.af.mil or MSgt. Andrew Cates at andrew.cates.2@us.af.mil for additional information regarding the site survey or procurement requirements. Fiber optic cable infrastructure is already in place for signal routing, suggesting that integration with existing installation may be a key component of the solution.
