About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, has issued a Special Notice for the maintenance and support of the pager system at The Dalles Lock and Dam. The agency intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to Turn-Key Technologies, the incumbent provider, to maintain the Access 3k wireless infrastructure and provide repair services, replacement parts, and warranty support.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide information about the sole-source acquisition and invite any responsible sources to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. The deadline for submitting responses is August 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM PST. The agency cites the need for the paging system as an OSHA requirement for emergency communication and Turn-Key's existing knowledge and proprietary components as the justification for the sole-source procurement. Eligible contractors must have the skills, knowledge, and equipment required to perform repairs on the paging equipment, and small businesses are encouraged to participate.
