The solicitation requests one PTS Drum Filter (DF-1) microscreen unit with a design flow rate of 2,100 USGPM, design influent total suspended solids of 10 mg/L, 40-micron screen pore size, and 18-inch flanged inlet. The filter must not exceed 7 feet wide and operate in an 8-foot-wide channel with minimum submergence of 40 percent of filtering surface area and maximum screen hydraulic loss of 12 inches. Equipment construction requires 304 stainless steel frames, drums, and drive structures; polyester fabric screen media on polypropylene grids with silicone sponge gaskets; EPDM drum seals; and TEFC motors at 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz for both drive and backwash pump motors. The filter includes a fiberglass removable cover, integral sump, bypass mechanism, sealed mechanical gear reducer with lubricated chain drive, automatic backwash system with spray bar assembly, and horizontal multi-stage pump at 100 psi. Acceptable manufacturers are Hydrotech, Integrated Aqua Systems, Inc., or equal alternatives. Lubrication must use food-safe mineral oil and grease. Required delivery date is October 30, 2026. Period of performance runs June 27, 2026 to October 30, 2026.
Evaluation will be conducted on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Quoters must demonstrate technical capability, capacity, and expertise; provide demonstrated experience with drum filters; include a delivery date; submit detailed product description and picture; complete all required forms; have no termination for fault or default within seven years; and be active in SAM at quote submission. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes must be included in pricing.
