About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation concerns streamgauging services for water resource management in Oregon. The Bureau of Reclamation requires monitoring and streamflow data collection for the Malheur, Burnt, Powder, and Crooked River basins to effectively manage water for irrigation diversions, flood control releases, and fisheries.

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a single-source, firm fixed-price contract to the Oregon Water Resource Department from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2027 with four option years. Interested contractors must submit a capability statement by May 25, 2022 identifying their Unique Entity ID and whether they are a small or other-than-small business according to NAICS code 221310. The Oregon Water Resource Department is considered the only entity qualified to access gaging stations, equipment, and provide the required streamflow records and services due to its responsibility and proprietary software for managing Oregon's water resources. No solicitation will be issued by the Bureau of Reclamation and the decision to award a sole-source contract to OWRD will be at the agency's discretion based on responses received.
