About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is soliciting repair and overhaul services for F100-PW-229 Augmentor Fuel Control (AFC) and Augmentor Fuel Pump (AFP) components through RFP FA8121-26-R-0007. The procurement requires contractors to return these critical safety items to serviceable condition through comprehensive disassembly, cleaning, inspection, corrosion control, and overhaul in accordance with applicable Technical Orders. Contractors must maintain ISO 9001 or AS9110 certification, comply with all applicable Air Force Instructions and military standards, and deliver 100 percent defect-free products on schedule while implementing supply chain risk management practices addressing continuity of operations and cybersecurity protections. The solicitation specifies firm fixed price contract line items with estimated quantities of 25 AFC units and 5 AFP units for USAF, plus 2 AFC units and 2 AFP units for FMS customers. The proposal due date is May 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM CDT, with an initial offer validity period of 120 days, and evaluation will be based on contractor ability to meet delivery schedules, quality requirements, and pricing competitiveness.
This is a sole source requirement designated to Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. (CAGE 73030), though upon issuance all responsible sources may submit proposals for consideration. No small business set-aside is designated for this procurement. The contract is structured as a one-year basic period with an option to extend services up to an additional six months under FAR clause 52.217-8, with delivery beginning within 30 calendar days of order receipt at a rate of 4 USAF AFC units per month and 2 USAF AFP units per month. The place of performance is Windsor Locks, Connecticut, with Government-furnished property limited and contractor-furnished material required throughout the contract period. Award will not be made until funds are available, and the Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation either before or after the closing date with no obligation to reimburse offerors for costs incurred. Condemnations will be replaced at no additional cost and will not count toward contractual delivery quantities.
