About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command seeks overhaul of two Government-owned Denison legacy steering hydraulic power unit main hydraulic back-up pumps for U.S. Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan, with offers due September 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM. This is a firm-fixed-price, limited-sources acquisition conducted under FAR Part 12 with a brand-name justification; competition is restricted to sources authorized to perform repairs on Denison Legacy 61 Series products.
Place of performance is Japan. Item 0001 (Serial No. 1373) must be received by April 27, 2026, and delivered by August 28, 2026; Item 0002 (Serial No. 2409) must be received by October 19, 2026, and delivered by March 19, 2027. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and services to receive, inspect, overhaul, test, and ship the two Government-Furnished pumps in accordance with OEM standards and specifications using only genuine OEM parts.
The contract is structured with two funded firm-fixed-price line items for the pump overhauls and one unfunded line item for over-and-above work authorized through DFARS 252.217-7028 contract modification; the unfunded CLIN does not authorize performance or create a Government obligation absent written Contracting Officer authorization. Award will be made to the single most advantageous offeror based on technical capability including delivery date, price, and past performance with no stated order of relative importance. The NAICS code is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing; PSC is J999, Non-Nuclear Ship Repair (West). Contractors must be registered in SAM; the Government will arrange and pay all transportation costs under FOB Origin terms.
