About this opportunity

The Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking contractors to provide aerial pesticide application services for the Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket Suppression Program in Oregon. This is a pre-solicitation notice for potential upcoming Requests for Quotes (RFQs), which will outline specific site requirements and treatment blocks. The RFQs will result in one-time firm fixed price purchase orders. Interested contractors are responsible for monitoring the contracting opportunity website for the solicitation postings, which will provide additional information and instructions. The General Statement of Work attached to this notice details the general specifications, terms, and conditions applicable to any contracts for Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket liquid and solid bait aerial applications.

This opportunity is set-aside for Small Businesses. There may be multiple RFQs posted under this pre-solicitation notice, each with its own RFQ number. Contractors should monitor the presolicitation notice ID ORGHMC2024 page for related solicitation postings. The potential value of the contracts is not specified, but the notice indicates that insect counts, weather, moisture, and temperature will determine the timing, location, and need for treatments, which are anticipated to be required from mid-May through August.

Please see the attached GHMC General Statement of Work which outlines the 2024 general requirements that apply to all Grasshopper/Mormon Cricket aerial application contracts. There may be multiple RFQ's posted for this presolicitation notice and for services required in Oregon.

Please note that each RFQ will have its own RFQ number starting with (12639524QXXXX).
