The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B). The VA anticipates issuing the BPA on or near March 5, 2018. The period of performance will be from March 5, 2018 through March 4, 2019, with 4 12-month option periods.
This BPA will only include commodities and services needed to replace, update, repair, and maintain current government owned Omnicell systems at each facility in the Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 (VISN 17).
All facilities throughout VISN 17 will be capable of ordering against the BPA. A list of those locations can be accessed here: https://www.va.gov/directory/guide/region.asp?ID=1017. Each facility will have a designated contracting officer representative, or ordering officer.
