AMENDMENT 0003:

UPDATE TO VENDOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

This amendment corrects an error in Amendment 0002.

In the first vendor question:

QUESTION 1: If a facility is located approximately 30 miles from DC and meets all other requirements will it be considered ineligible for award?

the answer was stated as 'No'.

The actual response is:

"Yes - in that, yes, a facility approximately 30 miles from DC will be ineligible for award as it does not meet the ‘no closer than 40 miles from DC' requirement stated in the solicitation."

Update #3 ·

AMENDMENT 0002:

Please see below the answes to all questions submitted by vendors.

QUESTION 1: If a facility is located approximately 30 miles from DC and meets all other requirements will it be considered ineligible for award?

No.

QUESTION 2: We believe that the restrictions placed on the location of the data center and proximity limitations seriously limits competition to a few companies in that area. Many companies that provide IaaS are outside the DC Blast radius and the government specificity will limit competition and increase cost.

The above location limitations have been set keeping in mind the logistics of our technical personnel (locations) and ability to reach the offsite server room in a timely manner in the event of a disaster.

QUESTION 3: Can you please provide the power requirements for the ½ rack because power is an important factor in cost calculation formulas.

No more than 3500 watts.
