The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of vocational training program-Electrician services for the federal offenders incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Ft. Dix located in Joint Base MDL, NJ.  The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through September 30, 2024, with four options for renewal at the discretion of the government.The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611519, with a small business size standard of $21 million.  This solicitation is unrestricted.The estimated quantities for the base period are 20,000 sessions and each option year are 48,000 sessions.  A session is defined as an hour. The successful contractor shall provide employees with all the required experience and education to teach/instruct the program. 

The solicitation will be made available on or about January 30, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
