About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, through the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, is conducting market research to identify sources for the manufacture of Augmentor Nozzle Sets (Part Number 9538M95G05, NSN 2840-01-357-1941PR) for the F110-129 aircraft platform. This is a sources sought synopsis intended to solicit business information from potential manufacturers capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required for new manufacture of the item, including component procurement, inspection, testing, preservation and packaging, shipping, and supply chain management. The government is seeking information from all business types, including large businesses, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone businesses, and women-owned small businesses under NAICS Code 336412. Interested parties must demonstrate capability to complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package per qualification requirements, and may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs. The deadline for submitting business information responses is February 17, 2026, with submissions directed to 421scms.requirements.workflow@us.af.mil.
This pre-solicitation notice includes no set-aside designations and does not identify any current contractors or incumbents. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this market research phase, and unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. The estimated spares requirement date is September 30, 2026, providing potential contractors with several months for qualification and preparation. The applicable size standard for this procurement is 1,500 employees under NAICS Code 336412. Importantly, this is market research only; no solicitation is currently available, and no funds are allocated at this stage. Interested sources seeking to provide qualification documentation should submit their SAR packages electronically through DoD SAFE to 429SCMS.SASPO.Workflow@us.af.mil and stacy.cochran@us.af.mil.
