About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is preparing to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Contract for Filter Element, Fluid (NSN 4330-01-014-1896, P/N 337-549-9001) with responses due by May 14, 2026. This is a competitive acquisition with three currently approved sources: Rolls-Royce Corporation (CAGE 63005), Honeywell International Inc. (CAGE 99193), and Boeing Distribution Services X, Inc. (CAGE 2N935).
The part is classified AMC "1" / AMSC "C," indicating it requires engineering source approval by the design control activity due to unique design capability, proprietary manufacturing knowledge, and data rights held by qualified sources. An alternate source must qualify according to design control activity procedures and receive approval from the cognizant Government engineering activity. If at least two sources remain approved or if adequate data supports alternate qualification, competitive acquisition is permissible.
The anticipated IDC structure includes a three-year base period with two to four option years. Delivery orders will be issued on an as-needed basis with all terms, conditions, and pricing negotiated upfront; the contractor will receive a guaranteed minimum order value. Estimated annual demand is 2,085 units. Interested companies should submit qualifications, commercial sales history, drawings, catalogs, and pricing information to Contract Specialist David Hartrum (david.hartrum@dla.mil, 614-693-9938) by the May 14 deadline. Proprietary submissions will be protected under FAR 2.101 and 3.104 and used only for price reasonableness evaluation.
