About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation intends to solicit for NRP assembly-lead components (NSN 7R-1680-016099094-P8, REF NR 381900-1001), with a response due by May 11, 2026. This is a flight-critical item requiring Government source approval prior to contract award.
The procurement is for three units with FOB origin delivery. The item is commercial, nondevelopmental, or off-the-shelf; however, DLA Aviation will solicit only previously Government-approved sources due to the flight-critical nature and insufficient technical data to support full and open competition. Unapproved sources must submit source approval information as detailed in the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochure for either spares or repair, together with their proposal. Offerors must provide technical data based on company experience producing the same or similar item, or if the item has never been produced by the company. Proposals lacking all required source approval data or failing to document prior submission of required data will not be considered for award. If a source approval request submitted under this solicitation cannot be processed in time to meet Government requirements, award may proceed based on approved sources to ensure fleet support continuity. Offerors with pending source approval requests at NAVSUP WSS should include the cover letter forwarding that request with their offer.
