About this opportunity

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has published a Special Notice for a one-of-a-kind, independent, non-profit corporation called the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Forum LLC. The NRC is seeking a "Standard Federal Associate" membership in this organization, which is dedicated to information sharing regarding low-level waste issues and implementation of the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Act.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to obtain a one-year base year membership with two option years in the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Forum LLC. The NRC's participation is critical as it is the federal agency that regulates the management of commercial low-level radioactive waste. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that submits the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote, and the vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and FedConnect. There are no other comparable entities doing this type of work, and the NRC's membership in the Forum provides access to critical information related to low-level radioactive waste management.
