A Firm Fixed Price contract was awarded to Apogee Semiconductor after being selected under the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) NASA Research Announcement (NRA) 80HQTR19NOA01, entitled "Space Technology Research, Development, Demonstration, and Infusion - 2019" (SpaceTech-REDDI-2019). Apogee Semiconductor will partner with JPL to develop a flexible next generation radiation-hardened switching power controller capable of driving various power topologies. The flexibility of the controller will allow for maximum utilization across multiple platforms including energy generation, storage and distribution for lunar payloads and satellites.
