About this opportunity
The National Park Service, Region 2 (Southeast Region), issued a Notice of Intent to Award for sole-source water quality sampling and analysis services at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, with a response deadline of August 18, 2026. This procurement is restricted to the San Antonio River Authority (SARA) under FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source). SARA has performed this work continuously since 2008 and serves as the designated local authority for water quality monitoring of the Upper San Antonio River under the Texas Clean Rivers Program. The National Park Service has determined that consolidating water quality sampling and analysis with SARA's routine watershed monitoring reduces project costs and eliminates duplicative research. The contract is firm fixed-price; standard business size under NAICS 221320 (Sewage Treatment Facilities) is $35 million. Interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for amendments and additional information; FBO will be the sole source for solicitation documents and electronic notification.
