About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) has issued a Special Notice regarding the closeout of multiple federal contracts. This notice pertains to contracts that have completed their performance period, been fully invoiced, and have a remaining balance of zero dollars. The announcement is specifically targeted at vendors with contracts listed in an attached document, which includes 42 contracts spanning various contract types and values. The notice is part of the standard federal contract management process, aligned with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.804 guidelines for contract closeout procedures. The agency is providing advance notification to affected contractors about the upcoming unilateral contract closeout action.

Contractors have ten business days from the notice's posting date (until April 3, 2025) to contact the designated point of contact if they prefer a bilateral contract closeout modification or believe there are valid reasons to prevent the closeout. All contractors listed in the attached PDF, which includes firms like Columbia Basin Helicopter Inc., Mindpoint Group LLC, and Environmental Systems Research, are eligible to participate in the closeout process. The notice applies to contracts with varying pricing structures, including Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Order Dependent, Labor Hours, and Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment. Contractors are advised to carefully review the attached contract list and promptly communicate any exceptions or concerns to ensure a smooth contract termination process.
