About this opportunity
NASA Glenn Research Center has issued a Notice of Partnering Opportunity (NPO) to openly and competitively select prospective team members to assist in the preparation of proposals for the Artemis IV Deployed Instruments Program. The objective is to understand the flow characteristics of granular media in lunar gravity conditions, the mechanism for lunar dust adhesion, and to develop rheological constitutive equations. The NPO seeks information from partners regarding their availability, cost, capabilities, and past performance related to science partnerships, technology and instrument development, and lunar environment experiments. GRC intends to negotiate grants, cooperative agreements, or contracts with selected partners without further competition for any proposals that are selected. The NPO specifies the evaluation criteria, response instructions, timeline, and communication restrictions, with a due date of December 9, 2024. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology).
