About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard, Air Station Washington DC, issued a notice of intent to sole source a contract to Jeppesen ForeFlight, Inc. for aviation software licenses supporting C-37A/B and C-39A aircraft, with a response deadline of June 30, 2026. This is a sole-source award under FAR 6.302-1; no competitive solicitation will be issued.
The Coast Guard requires Military Flight Bag (MFB) One licenses for international and domestic flight planning, Heavy Tail Dispatch subscriptions, and Runway Analysis licenses to support executive airlift for the DHS Secretary and Coast Guard senior leadership. All services must integrate with Honeywell avionics equipment and Jeppesen ForeFlight INDS software currently installed in the aircraft cockpits and meet FAA, ICAO, and host-nation regulatory requirements. The Coast Guard asserts that Jeppesen ForeFlight is the only provider capable of delivering the required compatibility, integration, and security necessary for mission-critical operations.
The contract covers a 12-month period of performance from July 3 or 4, 2026 through July 2 or 3, 2027 (sources vary by line item), with an estimated value of $34,964.76 on a firm-fixed-price basis. Performance takes place at USCG Air Station Washington, 1 Reagan National Airport, Hangar 6, Washington, DC, with services delivered electronically.
Although this is a notice of intent rather than a request for proposals, any firm believing it can meet the requirements may submit a capability statement for consideration.
