About this opportunity
Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Rucker announced on October 21, 2026 its intent to sole-source a firm-fixed-price contract to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) for National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and Alabama Law Enforcement Tactical System (LETS) database services, with a response deadline of November 1, 2026. The sole-source restriction limits competition to ALEA. MICC is procuring on behalf of the Directorate of Public Safety at Fort Rucker. The contract will run for a one-year base period beginning December 8, 2026, followed by six consecutive 12-month option periods and a final six-month extension option, potentially extending through June 7, 2034. ALEA will provide continuous 24/7 electronic database gateway access, software licensing, and digital connectivity to query FBI NCIC records and state LETS data, including criminal records, outstanding warrants, stolen property, missing persons, and driver/vehicle registration information. Services must comply with Army Regulation 190-45 and DoD physical security standards. The procurement is classified under PSC DC10 (Data Center as a Service) and NAICS 518210 (Computing Infrastructure Providers). The small business size standard is $40 million.
