About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Special Notice for a sole source contract with the Pacific Island Health Officers Association (PIHOA) for office space, communication equipment, office supplies, IT support, administrative support, and cleaning services in Guam.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public that the CDC intends to award a sole source contract to PIHOA, which has a history of providing office space and administrative support to CDC staff in Guam. The contract is being awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as there are no other organizations that can simultaneously provide the required workspace, administrative support, and understanding of the work done with the U.S. Pacific Island awardees. The Special Notice invites any interested parties to submit responses within 7 days of the issuance of the notice, which will be considered by the government, but a competitive procurement is not guaranteed. The contract will enable the CDC to address longstanding challenges and strengthen the agency's ability to deliver on its core mission.
