About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command announces the agency's intent to award a sole source contract for target geometry services to support programs in ground combat, aviation, munitions, and future force systems. The notice seeks these services to generate target geometry and maintain databases for weapon system development and testing.

The objective is to solicit and negotiate a contract with Delcom, LLC to provide target geometry services for one base year and three option years. Interested parties have fifteen days from the date of posting to submit a response demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Eligible contractors must have expertise in developing target descriptions using CAD software, creating models with metrology equipment, and maintaining an unclassified database. The services include applying editing techniques to CAD geometry, developing new geometry, and converting existing commercial geometries for use in survivability, lethality and vulnerability analysis to support various defense programs. Performance will take place at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
