About this opportunity
The Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory issued a Notice of Intent to sole-source Leapfrog Geo & Edge Software Subscriptions to Bentley Systems, Inc. (Seequent), with interested parties able to challenge the sole-source determination by July 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. NETL intends to use these subscriptions to support commercialization of an AI-based critical mineral discovery tool and to develop resource basin-scale and deposit-scale geologic models for critical mineral resources. This notice is not a request for quote or proposal; any interested party believing it can meet the requirement must provide written evidence of capability and submit it to Contract Specialist Arturo Manantan at arturo.manantan@netl.doe.gov. The Government reserves discretion to decide whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
