About this opportunity

The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Building Services published a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract for soil remediation efforts at the Southeast Federal Center site. GSA intends to directly negotiate and award this contract to FC Remediation SEFC, LLC, as they are the only vendor able to fulfill the terms of the existing Public-Private Development Agreement between GSA and Brookfield Properties for redevelopment of the Southeast Federal Center site.

The notice seeks approval for a sole-source contract to FC Remediation SEFC, LLC for soil remediation at the site. Interested parties have until March 10, 2021 to submit a statement of capabilities for consideration of future remediation work, however this notice is not a competitive solicitation and does not compromise the existing Public-Private Development Agreement. GSA will acquire these services using simplified acquisition procedures and commercial item guidelines, directly negotiating and awarding the contract to FC Remediation SEFC, LLC due to their role in the redevelopment agreement.
