About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District Office, issued a notice of intent on June 11, 2026, to sole-source EarthCam services to EarthCam Inc. of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, with an interest statement deadline of June 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. The procurement is restricted to EarthCam Inc. because the required support for the equipment is proprietary to the original vendor.

EarthCam Inc. will provide unlimited cellular data service for six EarthCam brand DredgeCam HD construction cameras owned by the USACE Seattle District Navigation Section, a Robotic Camera Software Support Package (including technical support, maintenance, software upgrades, and telephone product support), and archiving Time-Lapse Service at Platinum Service level (one image every five minutes). The cameras were purchased in 2017 and remain fully functional. Using an alternate vendor would void warranties, result in substantial cost duplication, and cause unacceptable delays. The procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a non-competitive acquisition where only one source is reasonably available.

This notice is not a formal solicitation; no solicitation document exists, and no award will be made based on responses to this notice. Interested parties may submit written statements identifying their interests and capabilities by the June 18 deadline to londres.medranda@usace.army.mil. Previous contracts for this requirement are W912DW22P0007 and W912DW16F5002.
