About this opportunity
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole-source purchase order for DicksonOne temperature monitoring subscription renewal under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, with comment period closing July 31, 2026. The procurement is not being set aside.
The EPA's Office of Finance and Administration, specifically the Information Technology Operations Division, requires renewal of the DicksonOne cloud-based temperature monitoring system subscription to maintain continuity of support for existing equipment deployed across the agency. Dickson/Unigage Inc. (Addison, Illinois) is the sole qualified source; the justification cites that DicksonOne is a proprietary system developed and maintained exclusively by Dickson, and the renewal is necessary for compatibility with EPA's IT infrastructure. The scope includes DicksonOne temperature monitoring devices, annual replacement of NIST-traceable calibrated temperature sensors, and data collection, temperature data storage, and real-time online graphing through the DicksonOne SaaS platform.
The NAICS code is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing) with a 600-person business size standard. The PSC is 6685 (Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity Measuring and Controlling Instruments).
Any interested party believing it can meet the requirements may submit a written challenge to the sole-source justification by the July 31 deadline. This notice is informational only and is not a solicitation or request for quote.
