About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management has published a Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source a contract modification with Chainalysis Government Solutions, LLC. This notice, posted on January 26, 2026, informs the market of DHS's intention to increase the ceiling on an existing single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (70CMSD22D00000004) with Chainalysis. The modification will provide forensic software and support services to assist the agency's Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crimes Center in criminal investigations. The Contracting Officer has determined that Chainalysis represents the only reasonably available source based on its unique technical capabilities. This notice is published for informational purposes only and does not constitute a formal request for quote.
The primary objective of this contract modification is to expand funding availability under the existing IDIQ agreement to support DHS ICE's ongoing criminal investigation operations. The deadline for inquiries or concerns regarding this proposed action is February 2, 2026, with all questions directed to Contract Specialist Bryan Ford at bryan.j.ford@ice.dhs.gov. While this is a sole-source procurement based on FAR 6.103-1(b) authority, the notice indicates that the government reserves discretion in making its final contracting decision. No formal eligibility requirements or participation instructions are specified, as this represents an informational notice rather than an open competition. The contract opportunity falls under the Software Publishers NAICS category (513210), reflecting the forensic software and related support services to be provided.
