About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management in Irving, Texas has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to sole source a contract modification to Chainalysis Government Solutions, LLC. The notice pertains to forensic software and support services under the Software Publishers NAICS category. ICE plans to modify an existing single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (70CMSD22D00000004) to raise the contract ceiling value. The agency is utilizing FAR 6.302-1 authority for this sole source procurement, citing that only one source is reasonably available based on required capabilities. The notice was posted on June 11, 2025, with a response deadline of June 18, 2025.
The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the contracting community of ICE's intention to proceed with a non-competitive contract modification for Chainalysis forensic software and related support services. This is purely an informational notice and not a request for quotes from potential contractors. The government contracting officer retains discretion to determine whether to compete this proposed contract action based on any responses to this notice. No specific eligibility criteria are outlined since this is a sole source procurement targeting a single vendor. Interested parties with questions or concerns are directed to contact Contract Specialist Bryan Ford or Contracting Officer Greg Hermsen via the provided email addresses. The notice emphasizes that the contracting officer has determined Chainalysis is the only reasonably available source capable of meeting the government's requirements for these specialized forensic software capabilities.
