About this opportunity
The Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has issued a notice of intent to sole source a contract to Camp Systems International for aircraft maintenance tracking and inventory management software. The procurement involves a 5-year contract with options for CAMP subscription services to support the Office of Secured Transportation (OST) fleet operations. OST operates two Boeing 737-400 aircraft and one Boeing 737-700 that require specialized maintenance and logistics tracking capabilities. The contract falls under the Custom Computer Programming Services NAICS category and is valued as a multi-year agreement with base and option years. This special notice serves as advance notification to the contracting community of the agency's intention to proceed with a sole source award.
The primary objective of this procurement is to provide OST with a maintenance management and inventory management system that integrates seamlessly with their existing Flight Operations Software (FOS) while meeting stringent cybersecurity requirements. Interested parties have until October 11, 2025, to respond to this notice, though the agency has already determined through market research that Camp Systems International is the only vendor capable of meeting all required technical specifications and security standards. The system must be compatible with OST's flight operations infrastructure and approved by their Authorization Official Designated Representative (AODR) for cybersecurity compliance. The CAMP system will provide aircraft maintenance tracking, parts inventory management, electronic logbooks, and automated reporting capabilities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the government aircraft fleet in accordance with federal regulations. The sole source justification indicates that Daniel Systems (doing business as Camp Systems International) was selected after determining no other vendors could satisfy the comprehensive technical and security requirements.
