About this opportunity
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture has published a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to Automated Logic Corporation for a pressure monitoring system and installation at their Eastern Laboratory in Athens, Georgia. This special notice indicates FSIS's intention to procure services under Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), which allows for sole source procurements under simplified acquisition procedures. The procurement will be structured as a firm-fixed price purchase order with Automated Logic Corporation, located at 1150 Roberts Blvd NW Kennesaw, GA 30144. The notice was posted on July 17, 2025, with responses due by July 24, 2025. This is classified under NAICS code 541513 for Computer Facilities Management Services and PSC code DH01 for IT and Telecom Platform Support Services.
The purpose of this procurement is to acquire a complete turnkey pressure monitoring system, specifically a dual Detra Lite pressure monitor, along with comprehensive installation and support services for the FSIS Eastern Laboratory. Automated Logic Corporation will provide all necessary hardware, software, project management, engineering, programming, graphics, installation, startup/checkout, training, and warranty services. The justification for sole source procurement is based on Automated Logic's existing role as the provider and servicer of the current temperature controls and energy management system at the Athens facility, making them uniquely positioned to integrate with the existing WebCTRL building control technology. While this is not a competitive solicitation, interested parties may submit capability statements via email to angela.carey@usda.gov by the July 24, 2025 deadline, though the government retains full discretion in determining whether to proceed with competition based on these responses. Capability statements must be submitted in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Adobe PDF format and contain sufficient technical detail to demonstrate the party's ability to meet all requirements.
