About this opportunity
This notice provides intent to sole source a bridge contract for P-3 aircraft maintenance and logistics services to the incumbent contractor. The Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection seeks these services to continue ensuring the availability of P-3 aircraft domestically and abroad in support of its law enforcement and security missions. The bridge contract would provide these services from April 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, with an option to extend an additional six months. It aims to allow continuity of vital services until a competitive follow-on contract can be awarded and transitioned.
No set-aside designations were used. Place of performance will be within the United States. The contract continuation involves maintenance, material management, and engineering services necessary to sustain aircraft readiness for CBP strategies outlined in the 2014 Quadrennial Homeland Security Review. This notice is not a solicitation but rather an advance intention to sole source award a bridge contract extension to the current provider. The justification will be posted according to the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
