About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Indian Energy Policy, and Programs (IE) has published a Special Notice regarding its intent to award a sole source contract to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). NCSL possesses vital knowledge and awareness of IE's mission to maximize the development and deployment of energy solutions for the benefit of American Indians and Alaska Natives, which is crucial for ensuring continuity in planning and implementing the Indian Country Energy and Infrastructure Working Group (ICEIWG) and IE's Tribal Clean Energy Summit.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties of the Government's intent to award a sole source contract to NCSL for a one-year period of performance, with an additional one-year option period. Interested parties who believe the Government should not pursue this sole source procurement with NCSL are invited to submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the agency no later than 15 days from the posting date. The capability statement should include a general statement for the services indicated in the announcement and past performance client information for a similar product. The Government will make a determination, at its sole discretion, on whether to compete this proposed contract based on the responses received.
