IATAC J&A Signed 23 Apr 2009.

Update #1 ·

This is a notice of the government?s intent to extend the performance period and increase the contract value for the current Information Assurance Technology Analysis Center (IATAC) contract. The intent is to extend the present performance period from 15 May 2008 through 14 November 2008, with a 3-month option period (15 November 2008 through 14 February 2009), and a second 3-month option period (15 February 2009 through 14 May 2009). If all options are exercised, the value of the contract will be increased by $183M. The government intends to negotiate with the incumbent contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton, on a sole-source basis. This extension will permit the continuation of performance of the current IATAC contract. This is a non-commercial, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Requirements, Research & Development contract that was awarded on a competitive basis. This is neither a Request for Proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the government?s discretion. Information received by close of business 17 March 2008 will be considered by the government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
