About this opportunity
The Department of Energy Headquarters has issued a Notice of Intent regarding Siemens Industry, Inc., indicating a potential procurement opportunity in the computer and computer peripheral equipment and software merchant wholesaler sector. This solicitation falls under the IT and Telecom category, specifically for IT Management Support Services (Labor), suggesting the agency is seeking technology-related labor services or support. The opportunity was posted on September 11, 2025, with a relatively short response window requiring submissions by September 17, 2025. The brief timeframe indicates this may be a time-sensitive procurement or could represent an advance notice allowing potential contractors to prepare for a forthcoming formal solicitation. The limited description provided suggests this is an early-stage notification rather than a detailed request for proposals.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to full and open competition among all eligible contractors. Siemens Industry, Inc. is specifically mentioned in the title, which may indicate they are either the incumbent contractor or a potential contractor of interest for this opportunity. No specific award values, budget ranges, or contract quantities are disclosed in this notice of intent. The timeline for service delivery and place of performance details are not specified in the current documentation. Given the nature of IT management support services, the work could potentially be performed at various Department of Energy facilities or through remote support arrangements, though specific location requirements have not been detailed in this preliminary notice.
