About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, has published a Special Notice regarding the Navajo Area Indian Health Service's Kayenta Health Center (KHC) in Kayenta, Arizona. The notice announces the intent to establish multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with five pre-selected vendors for the procurement of various supplies and materials needed by the Facilities department. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a notice of intent to award BPAs to Gallup Lumber Supply Co, Inc., HHB Builders & Supply Co, Inc., Midwest Motor Supply Co., Summit Electric Supply, LLC, and Gardner Metals, Inc. The procurement falls under NAICS code 321912 with a small business size standard of 500 employees and is classified under PSC code 5680 for miscellaneous construction materials.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to inform the market of KHC's intent to place multiple-award BPAs for as-needed procurement of building materials, disposable tools, electrical supplies, painting supplies, HVAC equipment, lighting supplies, and related items. Interested vendors not included in the current BPA awards are invited to submit capability statements, price lists, and catalogs to the point of contact via email by March 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST, with the understanding that no solicitation will be issued and no guarantee of additional awards exists. The anticipated period of performance spans three years, commencing March 15, 2026, with a base year plus two optional one-year extension periods. While only the five pre-selected vendors currently hold BPAs, the government may contact additional capable vendors and request they establish BPAs should KHC's needs change or additional sources become necessary in the government's best interest. There are no set-aside requirements associated with this procurement.
