About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division, Kansas City District, has issued a Special Notice regarding an existing Pre-Placed Remedial Action Contract (PRAC). This multiple-award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, which spans contract numbers W912DQ20D3004 through W912DQ20D3012, is intended to increase its maximum dollar value by $20 million, raising the total from $185 million to $205 million. The notice is specifically related to environmental remediation contracts supporting USACE Northwestern Division and EPA Region 2. The contract covers hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) remediation projects, including complex environmental restoration activities. The specific focus of this notice is to enable completion of an ongoing task order for remedial action at the Eighteen Mile Creek Superfund Site in Nagara County, New York.

Contractors interested in this opportunity should note that this is a notice of intent, not a competitive solicitation for proposals. The primary objective is to expand the existing contract's financial capacity without changing its current scope or ordering periods. Eligible contractors should be prepared to handle environmental remediation services, which may include excavation, transportation, disposal of hazardous waste, groundwater treatment system construction and operation, and in situ treatment technologies. Responses to this notice must be submitted via email by 4:00 pm Central Standard Time on February 28, 2025, and should be directed to Lauren Minzenberger and Michael Dolly at their respective USACE email addresses. The contract falls under NAICS category 562910 (Remediation Services) and PSC category F999 (Other Environmental Services), indicating the specialized nature of the work involved.
