About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Galveston District intends to increase the shared ordering capacity within the existing scope and ordering periods of nine Architect-Engineer Indefinite Delivery Contracts for planning, engineering, and engineering during construction services. The existing contracts cover an area along the Texas coast extending from the Texas-Louisiana border south to the Rio Grande across 49 Texas counties and portions of four Louisiana parishes.

The purpose of the Special Notice is to notify contractors of the intent to increase the shared capacity of the existing IDC contracts by $10 million. This will allow for timely initiation of new design requirements and modifications to existing designs until new IDC contracts are awarded in March 2023. Contractors have until 10:00 am on November 1, 2022 to direct any questions or comments to the points of contact via email. The capabilities under the existing scope of services include comprehensive planning, technical analysis, engineering, design, and construction phase services for civil works projects involving flood risk management, coastal erosion, navigation, ecosystem restoration, and water resources.
