NOTICE OF INTENT
THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District intends to issue a contract modification, on a sole source basis, to Arcadis, U.S., Inc. ("the Designer of Record"). This sole source contract action is required for completion of the following scope of work: required work in support of the Great Lakes Legacy Act (GLAA) sediment cleanup project in Howard's Bay, located in the City of Superior, Douglas County, in northwest Wisconsin. The Architect-Engineer (A/E) shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, labor, equipment, superintendence, travel and coordination as required to provide Engineering During Construction (EDC) services for the cleanup project. It is anticipated this project will be awarded in Fall 2020 by USACE Detroit District.
In August 2016, a contract was issued to the Designer of Record to perform A/E services to develop 100% design sealed bid contract documents for removal and disposal of environmentally impacted sediment from Howard's Bay, located in Superior, Wisconsin. This modification is required to allow continuity during the construction execution of the design and the required A-E EDC services.
