About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Dogwood Health Consulting to provide health IT terminology expertise required to update the Occupational Data for Health (ODH) vocabulary. This update is necessary to meet the requirements established in the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health IT's Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Certification Program Updates, Algorithm Transparency, and Information Sharing (HTI-1) Final Rule, which included ODH industry and occupation data elements in the minimum data set for certified health IT vendors. The update must be completed by early 2025.

This procurement is not set aside. Dogwood Health Consulting is the proposed sole source contractor. The contract value is unknown, but the services are required to be performed in the United States. Interested parties may submit responses within 3 days of the notice of intent, but the government has sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
