About this opportunity
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has published a Special Notice announcing its intent to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed price, bridge Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with ABM Federal Sales, Inc. (St. Louis, MO) for the provision of toner and associated supplies. This short-term bridge contract is required due to unanticipated delays in the competitive acquisition process to ensure the continued availability of just-in-time replenishment of these critical supplies for the entire FBI.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties of the FBI's intent to award this sole source bridge BPA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The associated NAICS code is 325992 - Photographic Film, Paper, Plate, Chemical, and Copy Toner Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. While this is not a request for competitive quotations, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by contacting the identified Contracting Officer by the specified deadline of September 20, 2024. The FBI plans to complete the open market, competitive acquisition for these toner products following the bridge BPA.
