About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day regarding the Mud Mountain Dam Bridge Repair project in Enumclaw, Washington. The Industry Day is scheduled for September 10, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST and will be conducted onsite at the dam facility. This event is designed to provide additional information to industry partners and gather feedback on an upcoming civil works requirement for repairing the bridge at Mud Mountain Dam. The notice falls under the NAICS code 237990 for Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and is categorized under PSC code Y1PZ for Construction of Other Non-Building Facilities. The government has posted detailed location information and required security documentation as attachments to facilitate contractor participation.
The primary purpose of this Industry Day is to identify the most cost-effective solutions from qualified General Contractors for repairing the Mud Mountain Dam Bridge Pier, specifically located at the outlet of the 9-foot tunnel. Contractors must demonstrate experience and capability in performing similar heavy civil engineering projects, with work requiring comprehensive value engineering design analyses and construction management support. Key restrictions include that all construction work must be performed outside the flood season (October 1 through February 28) to avoid restricting use of the 9-foot tunnel during critical periods. Interested companies are limited to two personnel per organization and must complete pre-registration requirements, including submission of a Request for Visitation Authority form with detailed biographical information for security clearance. The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the bridge pier repair, including providing as-built drawings, equipment, supplies, labor, and supervision while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
