Added: Mar 18, 2016 1:35 pm Modified: Apr 05, 2016 12:18 pmTrack Changes The USDA Forest Service, Lake States Acquisition Team, announces an opportunity for Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contracts for control of non-native invasive species of plants projects on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The objective of these projects is to eradicate, reduce, or contain non-native invasive plants, thereby minimizing the threat to native plant communities, sensitive wildlife and fish habitats, and recreational activities. The projects will emphasize control activities on highly invasive non-native plant species infestations, and will use manual, mechanical, physical, and chemical treatments, or a combination thereof. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $7.0million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award.  No reimbursement will be made for costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow-up information requests. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov on or about April 4, 2016. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents, and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from www.fbo.gov. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
