About this opportunity

The US Coast Guard is soliciting competitive quotations for non-metal hose assemblies through Request for Quotation 70Z03826QB0000105, posted on April 27, 2026, with quotations due by May 4, 2026. The procurement seeks five units of a non-metal hose assembly (NSN 4720-01-HR2-3777, part number AE708612-9) manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip, LLC, which must maintain clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer and comply with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and airworthy commercial or military specifications to ensure aircrew safety. All responsible sources are eligible to compete under this unrestricted solicitation, with the option to submit alternate part numbers that meet equivalent quality and traceability standards. The Government will evaluate offers using a competitive lowest-priced, technically acceptable methodology, whereby only the lowest-priced offer receives technical acceptability evaluation; if unacceptable, successively higher-priced offers are reviewed until a technically acceptable option is identified. Technical acceptability is determined solely by the offeror's demonstrated ability to provide newly manufactured commercial items from the OEM or OEM-approved sources matching exact part numbers, with offer validity required for 60 calendar days from receipt.

This is an unrestricted procurement with no small business set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractor or current supplier is identified in the solicitation. The delivery requirement is July 10, 2026, with F.O.B. Destination specified for the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. While a specific budget ceiling is not disclosed in the solicitation, quotations will be evaluated for fair and reasonableness pricing, including consideration of quantity discounts and prompt payment incentives. The small business size standard for this NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) is 1,250 employees, and all shipments must include Certificates of Conformance with complete documentation establishing traceability from approved manufacturing sources. Award is anticipated as a firm-fixed price purchase order on a competitive basis, with all quality assurance requirements applicable to products touching USCG aircraft, including mandatory notification of supply changes, counterfeit or suspect parts, defects, or non-conforming conditions.
