About this opportunity

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration published a Special Notice announcing its intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Ocean Gold Seafoods Inc. The contract would facilitate longline charter services to support monitoring of coastal pelagic species off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California.

The purpose of the sole source award is to allow Ocean Gold Seafoods Inc. to provide longline charter services to enable biological sampling and acoustic data collection aimed at studying Pacific sardine populations. Interested parties have until March 24, 2023 to submit capability statements to be considered for potential competitive procurements of similar requirements in the future. The contract is set aside for total small businesses and would be negotiated on a firm-fixed price basis. Eligible contractors must have the capability to support longline surveys for biological sampling and acoustic data collection of coastal pelagic species in the specified region off the Pacific coasts.
