About this opportunity

The Department of Interior's Acquisition Services Directorate, on behalf of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), is conducting market research to identify potential tribal-owned businesses capable of hosting the NIGC National Training Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The government seeks a venue that can provide conference and seminar space for 450 attendees, including comprehensive services such as food and beverage, audiovisual support, wireless internet, and parking. This pre-solicitation notice is specifically designed to gather information about potential vendors' capabilities, with a focus on tribal-owned businesses that can meet the conference's specific requirements. Respondents must submit their capabilities and experience by January 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET, with responses limited to 10 pages and addressing specific evaluation criteria including business type, relevant experience, and ability to meet draft Statement of Work requirements. The market research will help the government assess potential sources for acquisition planning, with submissions to be sent via email to Rafael Gomez.

The procurement falls under the NAICS category 721120 for Casino Hotels, with a size standard of $30 million, and is not currently designated for any specific set-aside. The conference is scheduled for March 25-26, 2025, requiring a venue that can accommodate a main conference room and three breakout rooms with specific audiovisual and technical specifications. Key technical requirements include dedicated WiFi access, hardline internet for virtual conferencing, and on-site technical support staff. The venue must be a tribal-owned casino located in Albuquerque, with proximity to alternative hotels and restaurants, and must provide facilities for setup on March 24 and conference operations from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on March 25-26. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive requirements suggest a significant scope of services needed for the two-day conference, including room setup, audio-visual equipment, refreshments, and parking accommodations for all attendees.
