The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northeast Region 5, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction of a new multi-purpose facility at the Potomac River National Wildlife Refuge Complex (Occoquan), located in Woodbridge (Prince William Co.), Virginia. The work under this project consists of supplying all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to construct a new 5,417 gross square foot timber framed administration center with multi-purpose space and associated site work, utilities and parking areas. Additive items will include photo-voltaic system on roof, security system, and demolition of existing visitor contact station.
The estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 236220, with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. In order to be eligible for award, interested firms must be registered at the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) including Technical Specifications, drawings and evaluation criteria will be released through www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about June 8, 2018. The period of performance will be three hundred and sixty five calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The anticipated contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. Award will be made based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15, and the terms in the solicitation. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L and M of the solicitation. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted
